CHICAGO, IL (May 5, 2023) – New York Knicks Point Guard Jalen Brunson is proud to announce the first-ever Jalen Brunson Charity Golf Classic, a star-studded event taking place on Thursday, July 27th at the prestigious Twin Orchard Country Club in Chicago.

The event will raise funds for Brunson’s charitable organization, Second Round Foundation, which is dedicated to empowering young people through academics, sports, and outreach.

The Jalen Brunson Charity Golf Classic will bring together an impressive lineup of celebrity guests, NBA friends, and Chicago’s finest, all gathered for a day of golf, friendly competition, and giving back. The event will culminate in a dinner and live auction, hosted by ESPN’s Michael Wilbon.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, Second Round Foundation is committed to serving young people through academics, sports and outreach. The mission of the organization is to plant seeds of empathy and equity in young people as a foundation for operating in an inclusive society through academia and sports.

In line with Second Round Foundation’s focus on academics and youth empowerment, the Charity Golf Classic will be managed by students who have attended Sports Business Classroom’s Business of Basketball Immersive Experience. This unique educational program is dedicated to cultivating the basketball industry leaders of tomorrow.

The event will be organized by HallPass Media, a sports marketing agency founded by Albert Hall, co-founder of the NBA Summer League.
