This November, Second Round Foundation partnered once again with DREAM to support families during the holiday season through a large-scale Thanksgiving food distribution and Operation Warm coat giveaway.
Building on last year’s efforts, SRF expanded its reach in 2025 to serve 450 families across three DREAM sites, ensuring more households had access to nutritious food and warm clothing as the colder months approach.
Families received full Thanksgiving grocery packages designed to help them prepare meaningful holiday meals at home. Distributions included fresh produce, pantry staples, proteins, and holiday essentials such as sweet potatoes, rice, pasta, stuffing, apples, oranges, vegetables, milk, pies, and more; providing both nourishment and comfort during a season centered on togetherness.
In addition to the food distribution, families also received brand-new winter coats through Operation Warm, helping ensure children and caregivers alike stayed warm throughout the season.
This initiative reflects SRF’s continued commitment to showing up for families in practical, impactful ways, meeting immediate needs while strengthening community connections. We’re grateful to our partners at DREAM and all those who helped make this expanded effort possible.
Together, we were able to help families celebrate Thanksgiving with dignity, warmth, and support, exactly what the season is all about.
