On Tuesday, July 22nd, excitement filled the halls of DREAM Charter School as Jalen Brunson arrived, not to shoot hoops, but to step into the kitchen. Jalen & the Second Round Foundation team joined students in their culinary classroom, rolling up their sleeves to cook, connect, and inspire.
This memorable visit was part of Brunson’s ongoing commitment to giving back through the Second Round Foundation, our nonprofit founded to empower youth and uplift communities.
Brunson engaged directly with students, sharing stories from his journey and encouraging them to pursue their passions, and made a generous donation to Dream Charter’s culinary program, helping ensure students continue to have access to fresh, nutritious meals made from scratch. The support will also enhance the resources available to young chefs developing their skills and confidence in the kitchen.
