Below is a list of organizations that received grants and donations from Second Round Foundation in 2022-2025.

Covenant House

Covenant House is the largest, primarily privately funded charity in the Americas helping young people facing homelessness and survivors of trafficking, providing 24/7 crisis care and ongoing support in 34 cities across six countries.

In over 50 years of service, Covenant House has never closed its doors and its programs are designed to empower young people to rise and overcome adversity, today and in the future.

Team Jamaica Bickle (TJB)

TJB, is a not-for-profit corporation based in New York State and was formed in 1994 by founder and current CEO, Irwine Clare, Sr. TJB is the leading organization in sports, providing support services for Caribbean athletes, particularly Jamaicans who compete at the annual Penn Relays Carnival, which is held at UPENN, in Philadelphia, PA. SRF recently pledged money to TJB’s Defibrillator to Schools Program. The goal of the program is to outfit high schools and medical institutions across the Island with an AED unit.

DREAM

Originally founded as Harlem RBI in 1991, DREAM has expanded over three decades to serve 2,600 children and young adults across seven schools in East Harlem and the Bronx. Through its whole-child model, DREAM is committed to addressing the unique developmental needs of every child it serves, creating a future in which all children can recognize their potential and realize their dreams.

SHS Foundation: Scholarships & Jalen Brunson Patriot Wellness Initiative (JBPWI)

In the last five years, Jalen has awarded scholarships to 15 graduating seniors to support their college journeys. Last year, Jalen’s Second Round Foundation pledged $300,000 to establish the Jalen Brunson Patriot Wellness Initiative at Stevenson High School. To date, the Wellness Initiative has provided resources and opportunities to more than 300 financially under-resourced students and their families.

JBPWI strives to ensure equitable access to essentials and knowledge needed to foster lifelong wellness practices. JBPWI supports physical and mental wellness for financially under-resourced students. The Initiative’s goal is to empower the next generation of Patriots, both students and families, to prioritize health and wellness practices so they may thrive in all aspects of their lives.

This new extension of the One Family program includes expanded access to healthy food and nutrition information as well as essentials, such as athletic wear, shoes, and accessories, to enable an active lifestyle. The Initiative also provides families with basic medical supplies, access to physicals and vaccines, as well as mindfulness and relaxation support.

TGR Foundation

TGR Foundation is a leading education nonprofit founded in 1996 by Tiger Woods. With a commitment to providing opportunities that unlock the unlimited potential in the lives of young people from under-resourced communities, its mission is to empower students to pursue their passions through education. In 2026, TGR Foundation is celebrating 30 years of driving dreams together. Through its TGR Learning Labs and signature education programs focused on science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) educational enrichment, career and college readiness and health and well-being, TGR Foundation has served more than 217,000 students.

Garden of Dreams

The Garden of Dreams Foundation is a non-profit charity dedicated to bringing life-changing opportunities to young people in need. In support of its mission, the Foundation works closely with the MSG Family of Companies – which includes MSG Entertainment, MSG Sports and Sphere Entertainment – to bring young people together to raise their spirits, build resilience and provide life-changing networking, mentoring and educational opportunities through the power of community building.

Top Achievers Foundation (TAF)

TAF is a nonprofit organization created in 1996 by Lawrence Mann. The foundation strives to inspire and empower students to live a lifestyle of high achievement through after school education and coaching in STEAM, esports, financial literacy and basketball, as well as mentorship. The foundation also prepares students for success in college and beyond.

Forever Fire Foundation

Forever Fire is an outreach program that grew out of the Mac Irvin Foundation. Jalen played AAU Basketball for Mac Irvin Fire. The organization seeks to advocate for positive change and excellence for children and young adults through mentoring, education, building character and life skills to prepare them to succeed.

Project Purple

Connecticut-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to raise awareness, support patients and families affected by the disease, and fund research efforts to defeat pancreatic cancer. SRF’s contribution was for research.

Empowering Single Moms

Empowering Single Moms, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) committed to educating, housing and restoring single mothers receiving federal assistance by conducting self-sufficiency training, conflict resolution, and educational programs.
