Ali Marks Brunson

Ali Marks Brunson brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and community-centered leadership to the Second Round Foundation, where she supports the organization’s mission to “plant seeds of equity” for young people through education, sport, and community investment.

A licensed physical therapist and health advocate, Ali is passionate about advancing youth wellness and expanding access to resources that support both physical and developmental growth. Her early roots in Lincolnshire, Illinois, including her time at Stevenson High School, helped shape her commitment to service and community engagement.

Ali earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois and her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Northwestern University. She has continued her education with a specialized focus in women’s health, including pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise. As the founder of her own private practice and creator of the AMB Method, she integrates evidence-based physical therapy with functional strength training to support long-term health and performance.

Through her role with the Foundation, Ali provides insight into health, wellness, and resilience, helping to inform programs and partnerships that serve youth and their families. Known for her collaborative and practical approach, she is committed to ensuring that access to care and opportunity extends beyond traditional settings and into the communities that need it most.
