On November 22nd the Second Round Foundation, in collaboration with the Covenant House, hosted a special Pre-Thanksgiving dinner in the city of New York. This event welcomed the youth and families experiencing the struggles of poverty or homelessness and was a celebration of compassion, community, and the joy of giving back.

In attendance was Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks and Covenant House’s founding member of the new Player Ambassador Council and Nija Ali Williams, President of Second Round Foundation. The Covenant House, located in New York City, has been a sanctuary for countless homeless youth. On this evening the venue was filled with anticipation as volunteers filled the space with Thanksgiving decorations and joy. The food was generously provided by our incredible supporters, Judy Tepperberg and Tao Group Hospitality Cares. The event also featured games and activities for the youth in attendance, where Jalen enjoyed playing with the youth.
