Last week, the Second Round Foundation (SRF) received an incredible boost thanks to Legends, a sneaker shop in Charlottesville, VA. The retailer generously donated 50 pairs of sneakers to Top Achievers in Plano, TX, providing essential footwear for underserved students.

Legends Team Member Rajesh Daryanani shared the motivation behind this meaningful contribution:

“Legends is a local sneakers and apparel store in Charlottesville, VA, established in 1980. Through the support of our local community, we have now been open for 45 years. In response to the support the community has shown us, we try and give back when possible. Whether it is a sneaker drive at back-to-school time or a donation to the local Salvation Army branch, we are happy to help out. This year, we wanted to expand our reach and therefore contacted The Second Round Foundation. It has been a pleasure working with you, Carl, Stephanie, and everyone else involved. Hopefully, we can continue to work together in the future.”

Top Achievers President, Lawrence Mann, expressed his heartfelt gratitude:

“Thank you for your generous donation of shoes to our kids. This gift holds significant value for underserved students, as the shoes serve a practical purpose, help prevent injuries, and enhance their confidence in their daily activities.

Your support exemplifies the kindness and positive impact that the Second Round organization has on the community. I sincerely appreciate the efforts that go into making such meaningful contributions possible. Thank you once again for your kindness, generosity, and commitment.”

SRF is grateful to Legends for their generosity and Top Achievers for their ongoing commitment to uplifting young people. This partnership continues to make a lasting difference, one step at a time!
